Artist Leeza Meksin's solo show "Oil and Spandex" is on view through November 22 and features paintings and a site-specific installation entitled "My Spandex Rolodex" showcasing over 150 swatches from her spandex collection. Meksin's work ranges from paintings, prints, multiples and installations, and tends to involve spandex, patterns, humor and mischief.
Meksin received her MFA from Yale School of Art in Painting in 2007 and BA and MA from the University of Chicago in Comparative Literature in 2000. She is a faculty member at Tyler School of Art.

All the artists in the Solo Series are selected through a competitive slide review process. Abington Art Center hosts a total of 10 solo exhibitions a year culled from hundreds of artist submissions.
